About
I am a 23-year-old part time masters student studying journalism at the University of Brighton. In between my studies I travel the UK and other parts of Europe in my personal van that I renovated myself! From always wanting to travel since I was a young girl but never knowing how due to coming from a low economic background, van life was the perfect solution to overcome this. After purchasing a part- converted van during the first lockdown, I set about renovating my dream home on wheels over the next coming months despite knowing nothing about vans or DIY projects. A year later and after graduating, I found myself setting off for a 6-week road trip around Europe!
Mission
I want to encourage and show other women that they also can create a sustainable safe life travelling in a van, regardless of their age or experience. The mission of this blog is to share my own experiences, good or bad, in hope they provide some form of guidance or even inspiration to individuals wanting to indulge in van life. I also want to highlight that travelling on a low budget is achievable for those from a low economic background!
Vision
My vision is to guide and prompt sustainable living and Van life! Connecting those who are already van lifers or those looking to get involved by sharing experiences and useful tips and by doing so, creating a safe environment for female van travellers.
